W𝐡𝐲 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡?

 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐚 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 

In the year 1983, the Thiljala Marga Guru Quarters (MGQ) finished it's construction work. To celebrate the occasion a three-day DMC (Dharma Mahacakra) was organized. On the last day after Baba gave darshan and the Varabhaya mudra, Baba retired to his room. It was common practice that after Baba gave the Varabhaya mudra, there will be no reporting as Baba will need to take rest. Immediately after reaching His room, Baba told Dada Ramananda (PA dada) to call all the WTs. PA dada reminded Baba that He has just given Varabhaya mudra and its His normal routine not to meet anyone after Varabhaya mudra. Baba said He is aware of the practice however He wants to meet all the workers. PA dada had no choice but to go the Pandal and announce that Baba wants to meet all the WTs and asked all WTs to go to the MGQ. Dada was announcing repeatedly as the WTs started going towards Baba Quarters. 

As the WT's started going into the room, they noticed that Baba was already waiting for them. This was unusual, as the practice was everyone would arrive the hall than PA dada would inform Baba and He will come to the hall as in this way Baba does not need to wait for a long time. On that day, however it surprised everyone as Baba was already waiting for them on his reporting court. Everyone stood still as they entered the hall, Baba smiled and called everyone in “come, come, come”. When Baba was satisfied that everyone has assembled in the room, Baba told Dada Ramananda to close the door.

Baba than asked in a casual manner “how was the talk today, did you like it” and a few general questions. The senior dadas and didis replied saying that everyone enjoyed it. 

Baba then asked, “Can anyone tell me, why I have come on this Earth?”

Everyone was surprised by Baba’s question and kept mum, as only He knows why He has come.

Baba then said, “Who will tell, GS, please select someone.”

GS dada asked Dada Vijayananda “You please answer.”

Baba interrupted and said “No, no, no, Vijayananda will not say.”

GS dada then asked Didi Mitra “You please answer.”

Again Baba interrupted and said “no, no, not Mitra.”

Seeing Baba was not in a reporting mood and rather a family mood, GS dada then asked a young bramachari dada, who has just got his first posting to reply Baba’s question.

The young dada answered “Baba, to establish Ananda Parivar, Ananda Family, Universal family and to establish Prout.”

Baba responded “Right, right.”

Everyone was expecting Baba to say something.

Baba then added, “I came to this Earth for two purposes.”

“My first purpose is that you should convey to all the human being of this planet that the goal of their life is to attain Godhood, to become one with God. They can do this very easily even with their family duties and social responsibilities by the practice of Ananda Marga Sadhana. So, in the future no one can complain to God that I didn’t know, what is the goal of life and how to attain it, otherwise I could have also tried. Do you understand my boys and girls.”

Everyone replied, “Yes, Baba.”

Baba in a soft, sweet tone asked “Will you do this small work.”

Everyone replied simultaneously in an energetic manner “YES BABA! WE WILL DO IT.”

Baba said “Good. My second purpose is, I want to see the ganges of devotion should flow in the heart on every human being by singing kiirtan, Baba Nam Kevalam. Understand my boys and girls.”

Everyone replied “Yes, Baba.”

Baba asked again, “Will you also do this work.”

Everyone responded, “Yes, Baba.”

Baba was very happy, “Good, you have all promised to do your duties. Now reporting is over.”

After that, everyone retired back to their respectives places to sleep.

The next morning, Dada Ramananda shared that Baba said, “Look, yesterday 90 percent of the workers were here and they have assured that they will accomplish my mission.”

𝘛𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘬𝘢 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘩𝘮𝘢’𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘥, 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘏𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘶𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘰. 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘏𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴, 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬, 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘏𝘪𝘮.
